Biography

Abby Turner (she/her) is in her final semester at UCCS, where she will graduate in the fall with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with an
emphasis in Forensic Sciences, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Over the past three years, she has worked as a Receptionist Assistant in the Dean’s Suite at the College of Education, an experience that has sharpened her communication skills, professionalism, and deepened her
appreciation for working in diverse educational settings.

Driven by a strong commitment to support children who have experienced trauma, Abby aspires to become a forensic interviewer specializing in cases of abuse and neglect. After graduation, she plans to take time to invest in her personal well-being and passions before pursuing a Master’s in Social Work. Her long-term goal is to help children find their voice and begin healing in a safe, compassionate environment.

In her downtime, Abby enjoys swimming, rock climbing at the UCCS Rec Center, and spending quality time with her roommates.
