Kayleen St. Louis (she/her) is the Grants Administrator for the College of Education. She is a graduate of the MA in Leadership with a concentration in Student Affairs in Higher Education program at UCCS, and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Research, and Policy. Kayleen has worked in higher education and nonprofits for over 10 years and has worked with grants administration, in some form, for more than half of that time. When it comes to College of Education grants Kayleen can assist with pre-award activities, post-award activities, and closeout.

Pre-award activities can include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing call for application requirements
• Review and submittal of application materials
• Budget justification development
• Assistance with timeline development

Post-award activities can include but are not limited to:

• Financial review of expenditures
• Cost transfers
• Funding personnel from the grant
• Assistance with purchasing
• No-cost extensions
• Effort reporting

Closeout activities include but are not limited to:

• Connecting with Sponsored Programming Accounting
• Working with PI through closeout timeline
