Emily O’Keefe received her master's degree in social work from Rutgers University in 2014 and started her career in adult mental health. She moved over to higher education at Johns Hopkins University in 2018 as an Administrative Coordinator. Emily moved to Colorado Springs with her husband, son, parents, and brother-in-law in 2020. She now has 2 boys ages 3 and 5. In her spare time, she writes articles for a beer blog called Focus on the Beer and serves on the board for the Brew Brothers of Pikes Peak. She loves reading for her book club, exploring Colorado, traveling to baseball stadiums, and going on adventures with her husband and boys.
