Giving to the College of Education
Thank you for your willingness to continue to/or begin to support the UCCS College of Education.
Education is transformative as it builds the skills, knowledge, and capacity to become difference-makers within our communities and beyond.
We are learning more and more about how not all of our students are able to make the financial sacrifices to position themselves to take advantage of the many opportunities higher education can afford one. That is why we need you!
As you know, we have reached critical shortages in teachers (pre-K-12th grade), administrators, human service and mental health professionals, researchers, and policymakers/influencers--all dedicated to serving all communities within an ever-changing landscape of needs. So, again, thank you for exploring how you can contribute and become a “Certified Difference Maker” supporter today.
Other Ways to Give
Explore Planned Giving Options
Designate your gift to the area that matters most to you by leaving a lasting legacy at the College of Education.
Making a gift in your will or living trust allows donors to make larger gifts than they otherwise might be able to give from their income alone. Learn more about the many benefits of planned giving, such as life-long income and tax benefits that can better provide for your heirs by minimizing the impact on your estate.
For more information visit the UCCS Planned Giving website, or contact development@uccs.edu or (719) 255-5100.
Explore Honorary and Memorial Options
Gifts made in memory or in honor of a family member, teacher, student, or friend are generous and thoughtful ways to remember a person’s life and accomplishments. You can specify this when giving online or you can mention it to a member of our Advancement team when arranging to make a gift with their assistance.
Learn about Payroll and Matched Gifts
Many employers allow tax-deductible giving through payroll deductions. Additionally, if you or your spouse are employed by a company that provides a matching gift program, your contribution to the College of Education could be significantly supported. Check with your employer to see if you qualify.
