About

Eugene is active in a variety of professional and academic organizations including the Society for Human Resources Management, the American College Personnel Association, and the American Education Research Association.  He has been a presenter at several national and regional conferences.  Currently, he serves on the board of Colorado Habitat for Humanity.  He is also part of the Colorado Nonprofit Association Education Policy Committee.  

Before entering higher education, Eugene spent 15 years in the private sector working primarily in Human Resources and Education and Training.  In 2008, his passion for learning led him to pursue a PhD in Educational Leadership.  Eugene is currently an Assistant Professor at Regis University where he teaches capstone and program development for the Masters in Nonprofit Management degree.  For the last four years, he has taught Program Development in the Master of Student Affairs in Higher Education program at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs.
