Teaching Mathematics
This 24-credit graduate certificate provides the additional depth of mathematics content and pedagogical knowledge needed to make you a successful math teacher. Apply what you learn in certificate courses directly into your classroom the next day! Sharpen your own understanding of mathematics as you learn to engage students in meaningful mathematics in grades K-8. All courses are offered in a hybrid or remote format. UCCS institutional aid is available for this program. This certificate fulfills the requirements of a Middle School Mathematics Endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education. Certificate courses may count toward a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum & Instruction at UCCS.
New cohorts start every odd-numbered Summer semester.
