Educator Preparation Data
The UCCS College of Education prepares teachers, counselors, administrators, and researchers to innovate, inspire, and lead in the classrooms and communities they serve. Candidates complete our programs with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions for meaningful, sustainable, high-impact careers.
We believe all students, at all levels, deserve an excellent education. Our signature programs address critical areas of teacher specialization, such as STEM education, inclusive practices, and rural education. At UCCS, academic courses are taught by experienced pK-12 educators who bridge theory and practice through personalized and collaborative learning. In schools across the Pike’s Peak region, candidates engage in rich ‘hands on’ field experiences which foster career readiness, social justice, leadership, technology integration, and reflective practice.
