Biographical Information

Dr. DeCelles began his career as a middle school English teacher and adventure-based learning facilitator in Rhode Island's urban core. Since 2006, he has taught, trained, and supervised undergraduate and graduate teacher candidates (and their mentors) at Brown University, Tufts University, and Boston College. Dr. DeCelles teaches courses in arts-integrated learning, secondary literacy, positive classroom management, and mentor teacher development. He holds several leadership roles in the College of Education, including the Mentor Teacher Endorsement Program (MTEP), Educator Preparation Innovation Council (EPIC), Accelerating Careers in Teaching (ACT), and UCCS Teacher Summer Camp.
