Biographical Information

Dr. Aspen Rendon (Kimimila Waci Win) is an enrolled tribal member of the Oglala Lakota Nation. She is deeply connected to her Lakota culture, spirituality, and traditions, which play a vital role in her life and work. She aims to co-create spaces where each and every individual feels a sense of belonging, engagement, and are challenged to continue their journey of learning about self, others, and the world around them.
Dr. Rendon is currently the Director of Equity, Culture, and Community Engagement for the Cherry Creek School District in Aurora, Colorado. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new places, hiking, and dancing!
