students and supporting educators across a variety of roles and grade levels.
My early years in education were spent teaching art at both the elementary and middle school levels, where I nurtured creativity and a love for the arts in young learners. Along the way, I earned my Montessori certification and taught kindergarten in a Montessori setting, embracing child-centered and hands-on learning principles. I also had the opportunity to serve as a fifth-grade generalist, broadening my instructional experience across content areas.
In 2017, I earned a Master of Arts in Education Leadership from Argosy University, which launched me into leadership roles including instructional coach, assistant principal, and eventually principal. For the past six years, I have had the privilege of serving as the principal of Jordahl Elementary, where I am passionate about building a strong, inclusive school culture and empowering both students and staff.
In addition to my work in K-12 education, I am proud to give back to the profession by serving as an instructor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), where I support aspiring leaders in the Educational Leadership programs.
My husband and I have made Colorado Springs our home, where we have raised three wonderful children who are now adults.
I love this community and remain committed to making a lasting, positive impact through education.
