Biography

Rachel (she/her/hers) is a graduate of the University of North Texas Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences program with major concentrations in Communications, Organizational Supervision, and Administration. After graduating from Dallas County Community College in 2013 with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, Rachel transitioned into a full-time position as Kennel and Operations Manager for the Vet Tech Department and later to Instructional Coordinator for the School of Health Sciences Continuing Education Programs. Upon moving to Colorado Springs in January of 2022, Rachel began working at Colorado College where she currently serves as the Assistant Director of On-Campus Alumni Engagement while pursuing a Master’s in Leadership focusing on Student Affairs in Higher Education. Rachel is passionate about student success and enjoys holistically advising students and connecting them to campus and community resources. Rachel has previously served on Transfer and Retention committees and is dedicated to student transfer and orientation processes, particularly for students moving from community colleges into 4-year institutions.
