Sharla (she/her) is a graduate student pursuing a master’s in leadership with a focus on Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) at UCCS. Alongside her studies, she works as a Student Employment Advisor in the Office of Student Employment on campus. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO she graduated from UCCS in 2021 with her bachelor’s in visual and performing arts with a concentration in Film Studies. Getting a job on-campus during her undergrad lead to her interest in staying in Higher Education and sparked her passion for working with college students. She strives to be a developer of any space she steps into and any student she interacts with.
