Sofi (she/her) is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Leadership with a focus on Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) at UCCS. Alongside her studies, she works as a Graduate Assistant for SAHE in the College of Education and as an administrative assistant in the Department of Languages and Cultures. Originally from Honduras, Sofi moved to Colorado at the age of 12 and is a proud UCCS alumna, holding bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish. Her passion for the UCCS community led her to stay for her master’s. This Fall, Sofi will begin her practicum with the Precollegiate office, followed by another practicum with the Excel Language Center in Fall 2024. She is dedicated to supporting students as they transition from high school to college, understanding the challenges of this journey firsthand.
