Theresa Yakich, PhD
Biographical Information
Theresa Yakich is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral level who received her PhD in Behavior Analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2020 and her Master's degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2006. In addition to her lecturer role at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, she is currently the VP of Clinic Operations for the Family Support Center, serving children with Autism in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas. For more than 25 years, Theresa has been providing behavior analytic services within the educational, community, and clinical settings to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral needs. Theresa's research interests include parent and staff training, and she has published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is interested in promoting the practice of ABA in the local Colorado community, and bringing together practitioners that embrace the principles of behavior analysis. In her free time, she and her husband try to keep up with their two active boys!
