Biographical Information

Margaret Scott is an senior instructor in the Department of Leadership, Research, & Foundations at UCCS. She graduated with a doctorate in Educational Leadership from The University of Arizona in August, 2012. Prior to that she spent 30 years in K-12 public education, 10 of those as an elementary school administrator with experience in a large urban district at a variety of schools-a bilingual receiving school, an ESL receiving school, a gifted receiving school, and a school in school improvement. Her research interests are the use of dialogue and reflection for the purpose of instructional improvement, with a particular focus on how data collected from classroom walkthroughs can facilitate this process.
