Benefits of Campus Connections

uccs fuels success

Campus Connections benefits youth participants and the community. At Campus Connections, youth receive weekly one-on-one mentoring that includes assistance with schoolwork, exploring UCCS’s campus, eating a free healthy dinner, building healthy relationships, and participating in enriching and fun activities.

Campus Connections aims to strengthen life skills, self-confidence, and productive engagement with the community. The goals of the program are to promote the resilience and life success of our youth as well as strengthen community systems in order to better serve youth, their families and the greater community. Additionally, Campus Connections strives to prepare UCCS students to become community-engaged leaders.
