The UCCS College of Education graduate certificate programs allow busy working professionals the ability to further enhance their skills and careers.

  • Inclusive Behavior Intervention Certificate

    The Inclusive Behavior Intervention Certificate Program is a seven course (21-credit) certification focused on inclusive and comprehensive behavior intervention. This program provides the coursework for students to complete the additional requirements to become licensed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

  • Inclusive Early Childhood Education Certificate

    This graduate program in Early Childhood Special Education qualifies students to earn Colorado Department of Education teaching license/endorsement in Early Childhood Education (age birth to 8 years old) and Early Childhood Special Education (age birth to 8 years old).

  • Gifted and Talented (PK-12) Certificate and Endorsement

    This 25 credit hour certificate prepares teachers at all levels to enhance their teaching methodologies in Gifted and Talented (PK-12) education.

  • Substance Use & Recovery Counseling Certificate

    MA: Counseling and Human Services students may seek certification as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) candidate upon graduation. Further, once admitted to the Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services program at UCCS, students may declare an emphasis in Substance Use & Recovery Counseling.

  • Teaching ESL/EFL Certificate

    The Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language (TESL/TEFL) Certificate Program consists of four core courses that will give students the foundation and knowledge necessary to work with ELLs.

  • Teaching Mathematics Certificate

    This 24-credit graduate certificate provides the additional depth of mathematics content and pedagogical knowledge needed to make you a successful math teacher.
